I had already signed on when the Dr. came in so I don't imagine I have much time. My WBC is 1.4 today, up from 1.2 yesterday. Great news. The bad news is that in the morning I will go to surgery for the fungus in the nose. I cried. The ENT said he did not plan to do this and was happy with the count coming up and the progress of the spot. He said yesterday that it had reduced in size 20%. The problem being the Oncologist. He is real nervous about it according to Dr. McKee (the ENT). So, to be on the safe side and to make sure he gets it, he has scheduled surgery for sometime in the morning. YUCK. I told him I am so tired of being operated on and he said he would make it his personal mission to make this trip the best yet. We'll see.......I have grown to dispise an operating room. OK enough of self pity. I'm so thankful to our God for bringing me this far and know he will hold my hand thru this too. Please continue to pray for me. Jack is in a layover in Atlanta right now. He is due to arrive here noon time. It will be so good to see him. Sure wish I could see Alister Reese. My plan is to have him with us in the apt. Oh, by the way - they told my yesterday to expect to walk in the hall Sunday and maybe go "home" next week. Isn't that great? I will have to stay in though and only go outside M W F for clinic appts. Well friends, I will sign off now. I miss you all. Gordon posted me that they will be over to see me this weekend. That is great.
