About Emily Louise Yarrington

Emily, known as Kitten, was born in New Jersey, on March 12, 1917. She graduated from Neptune, NJ, High School in 1936, and Fitkin School of Nursing in 1939. At the beginning of WWII she entered the Army Nurse Corp and served until the end of the war, see More of Emily Louise Yarrington.

Emily was the wife Robert Adrian McAlister whom she met on a blind date in France during the war. After the war they married and settled in Florida.

Emily and Robert are the parents of Judy Ann McAlister Lewis and Janet Lynn McAlister Reese
