About Don Lewis

Don, also known as Donell, and Donald, was born at home on June 15, 1947 in Houston County, Alabama, just outside the town of Ashford , to parents C.A. Lewis and Louise Holton Lewis. At 6 months of age his family moved 5 miles east of Ashford to the community of Cowarts, Alabama, to a house sitting on the south side of U.S. Highway 84 directly across the highway from the Cowarts Assembly of God Church building. He lived there until he joined the Air Force in June, 1965. Ashford High School, Ashford, Alabama, class of 1965. Married Judith Ann McAlister on June 27th, 1970 in Ocala, Florida. Father of Sheri and Shay Among his academic work Don has an earned JD from California’s Western State University Don is the author of "To Feel the Song of Seasons" a book of poetry and pros and the novels "Overton U" and Suffolk Systems. U.S. Air Force.
