From the notes of Joseph Hammond and Rachel Yarrington, Johnathan's daughter.
William Yarrington was born 1703, baptized May 16, 1703. He settled in Simthtown, Long Island, NY, and married Rebecca Dayton (daughter of Johnathan). William was a Schoolmaster and was noted for his fine penmanship. His bible is now owned by the Rev. Samuel R.J. Hoyt, D.D. of Harlan, Iowa, a nephew of Rev. Benjamin M. Yarrington. (Another record states
that he taught school in Stonington, Conn. He died in May 1746 at Smithtown, Long Island, NY and is buried at Mill's Pond, Long Island, NY.
