An odd piece of information seems to be that James Ennis is said to have been born in 1836 and died in 1870, however, a picture exists that claims to show James Ennis Lewis and Katie Parker as elderly folks. Compiled by Dr. Tommy G. Johnson Natchitoches LA Census of Rapides Parish Lousiana, from the 1840 Census Charles Lewis lived in Dale County Alabama and was age 37, his children were James Ennis age 3, John H. age 1, William Wiley age 2, wife Nancy Riley Lewis age 25.
